Who we are

ARK OS is a suite of operations software — including Portal, our order-tracking application — built by Main Electric Supply ("Main," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the ARK OS suite, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account and session data. Signing in happens through Portal, our shared login. Once signed in, a single sealed session cookie identifies you across every ARK OS app — landing, Portal, and any app we add later — so you don't have to log in separately to each one. That cookie stores your session identifier only; it does not contain your password.
• Theme preference. A small cookie remembers whether you've chosen light or dark mode, so the site renders correctly on your next visit. It has no relation to your identity or account.
• Privacy-friendly analytics. We use a cookie-free analytics service to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are visited, from which country and device type). It does not track you individually across sites, does not use cookies, and does not collect personal data.
• Mobile number and SMS opt-in. If you check the box at signup or checkout to receive text messages, we collect the mobile phone number you provide and a record of your consent, so we can send you order and shipment status updates by text.

How we use this information

We use account and session data to operate the ARK OS suite and keep you signed in; we use aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it; we use your mobile number and opt-in consent to send the order and shipment status text messages you signed up for. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share data only with the infrastructure providers necessary to run the service (for example, hosting, email delivery, and the SMS platform we use to send text messages), each bound to protect it, and when required by law.

No mobile information — phone numbers, opt-in status, or consent obtained for text messaging — will be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third party, regardless of any other data-sharing described in this policy.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in by checking the box at signup or checkout, we'll send order and shipment status updates to the mobile number you provide. Consenting to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies based on your order activity, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out — you'll get one final confirmation text and no further messages. Reply HELP, or email , for support. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
